Frog Cellsat Secures Rs 16 Crore Deal to Deploy DAS Solution at Navi Mumbai Airport
The Project is slated for completion by FY2025 with travelers accessing seamless connectivity at the airport.

India’s very own telecom gear maker Frog Cellsat has bagged a contract from Metro Telworks Limited to deploy its One-DAS system at the Navi Mumbai Airport, for Rs 16 Crore. 

One-DAS


The One-DAS system is designed to enhance the 4G and 5G network connectivity at Airports, stadiums, etc, ensuring seamless network connectivity for travelers that will be efficient and effective. The One-DAS system developed by Frog-Cellsat holds the capacity to transmit signals for all the telcos active in the region.

Consecutive Success 


As the company bags the Navi Mumbai Contact, it marks the 3rd consecutive contract bagged following its previous wins for supplying the same system at Jewar International Airport, Noida, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai. 

Timeline


The project is scheduled to be completed by FY25 facilitating a seamless network experience for the travelers and good book times for the company. 

Technological Innovation 


Its previous deployments of the same system at Lucknow airport claim to provide seamless connectivity in all airport areas ranging from arrival, and departure areas to ticketing and back offices. It also supports all 8 existing frequency bands operated by telcos coupled with its capability to upgrade to 5G. 

It can achieve up to 100 Mbps speed in even the crowded areas of arrival and departure halls.  

Frog Cellsat- Profit Jump 


The company has recently reported a net profit rise of 60.08% to Rs 4.13 crore in the Sept-quarter whereas net sales increased by 24.64% to Rs 43.81 Crore. The same metrics stood at Rs 2.58 Crore and Rs 35.15 Crore, respectively in September last year.
