Airtel Partners with Blinkit to Deliver SIM Cards to Doorsteps in 10 Minutes Across 16 Cities—Is Yours on the List?
The quick delivery facility by Blinkit will be available for the customers at a nominal fee of Rs 49, while activation and E-KYC are to be done by the customer only.

In a groundbreaking move, Bharti Airtel has announced a partnership with Blinkit, the quick commerce platform, to deliver SIM cards to customers within just 10 minutes. This collaboration allows customers to receive SIM cards at their doorstep for a nominal convenience fee of ₹49, marking a significant milestone in customer service. It marks the entrance of the quick commerce giants in the telecom sector, where their expansion will be worth following. 

Initially, the SIM delivery service will be available in 16 major cities, including Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. The companies have plans to add more cities and towns over a period of time.

Easy SIM Activation

Once the SIM card is delivered, customers can easily activate their number using Aadhaar-based KYC authentication. They can choose between postpaid and prepaid plans or initiate Mobile Number Portability (MNP) to switch to the Airtel network. Airtel Simplifying Customers’ Lives 

Commenting on the partnership, Siddharth Sharma, CEO of Connected Homes and Director of Marketing at Bharti Airtel, said, ”Simplifying customer lives is central to everything we do at Airtel. Customers can also opt for number portability, all at their convenience.”
