After the success of its messaging app Arattai, Zoho has launched Vani, a new visual collaboration platform built especially for hybrid and distributed teams. The company announced the debut, positioning it as a next-generation tool that combines creativity and execution in a unified workspace.

What Makes Vani Different?

Unlike traditional collaboration tools that focus mostly on chats or shared documents, Vani is built around visual thinking. It offers a digital canvas where teams can brainstorm, sketch workflows, map concepts, and execute plans—all within the same environment. The platform supports diagrams, mind maps, sticky notes, and visual frameworks to help ideas take shape more naturally.

To support collaboration, Vani integrates video calls, contextual comments, and non-synchronous editing features so team members can stay connected across time zones. The platform also provides an “infinite whiteboard”, letting users brainstorm without spatial limits, and AI tools to automatically generate visual elements like flowcharts and diagrams.

From Idea to Execution—All in One Place

Vani doesn’t stop at ideation. It lets teams turn visual ideas into tracked projects. Users can build workflows, assign deliverables, and apply prebuilt templates without switching between tools. Moreover, Vani integrates seamlessly with Zoho’s existing ecosystem as well as third-party apps, offering more continuity and less friction in daily operations.

Who Can Benefit from Vani?

Vani is useful across many team functions — from marketing and design to engineering, sales, and product. It organises work through Spaces (shared folders) and Zones (individual canvases), offering structure while preserving creative flexibility.

The Role of AI in Vani

Artificial intelligence is deeply embedded in Vani. The AI helps teams visualise faster, summarise conversations, automate next steps, and generate diagrams. In essence, Vani’s AI acts as an intelligent assistant that helps reduce manual work and keeps the workflow flowing.

Why Zoho Built Vani

Zoho observed a common problem: ideas often remain abstract, fragmented across tools or lost in translation. To bridge this gap, Vani turns intangible thoughts into clear, shared visuals — reducing cognitive overhead and helping teams align more quickly. Zoho positions Vani as combining ideation, collaboration, and execution in a single rhythm: Visualise. Collaborate. Execute.

As workplaces move increasingly toward visual and distributed models, Zoho hopes Vani will stand out by uniting the phases of teamwork and enabling teams to transform every idea into action.
