Over the past year, the central government has migrated all 12 lakh official email accounts of its employees, including those of the Prime Minister’s Office, from the National Informatics Centre-based system to Zoho’s platform. Headquartered in Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu, Zoho now powers official communication across ministries and departments, marking a decisive step in India’s pursuit of digital self-reliance.

Strengthening the Make in India Vision

This shift towards adopting India-borne technology represents a strong alignment with the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and aims to promote Indian organisations.
