Bengaluru-based Good Monk garners $2 million in pre-Series A funding to advance its innovative nutrition mixes addressing daily dietary gaps.

Bengaluru-based nutrition startup Good Monk has successfully raised $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures. The round also saw participation from existing investors Multiply Ventures, Sharrp Ventures, and ThinKuvate. Founded by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, Good Monk offers nutrition mixes designed to blend seamlessly into food without altering its taste or aroma. These products cater to a broad demographic, including children, adults, and seniors, aiming to address daily nutritional deficiencies with clinically validated solutions.

Strategic Use of Funds

The newly acquired funds are earmarked for investment in research and development, as well as product innovation. The goal is to provide more effective nutritional alternatives that are both convenient and palatable. Good Monk reports an elevenfold growth over the past year, a testament to its unique product offerings and market strategy. The startup gained additional recognition by securing a deal with Vineeta Singh of Sugar Cosmetics during Season 4 of Shark Tank India.

Investor Confidence in Health and Wellness Sector

Abhishek Goenka, managing partner at RPSG Capital Ventures, expressed confidence in the health and wellness sector, noting a surge in consumer demand for innovative and convenient nutritional supplements. He highlighted Good Monk's impressive product innovation as a key factor in their investment decision.
