The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has made an agreement with Primus Partners Pvt Ltd. to work together and help improve India’s startup and innovation environment.
This partnership will support new and growing startups by offering training, expert advice, chances to enter markets, information about rules, and help in using new technology.
Shri Sanjiv, Joint Secretary of DPIIT, said that this teamwork shows how DPIIT wants to build an economy based on new ideas, technology, and business. He added that India’s startup scene is changing globally and by joining policy, industry, and innovation, they want to help startups grow, create jobs, and make India a leader in innovation.
“The partnership seeks to enhance support for early-stage and growth-stage product startups through structured capacity-building interventions, expert mentorship, market access initiatives, policy awareness drives, and facilitation of technology integration,”
the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on Thursday.
Shri Davinder Sandhu, Co-Founder of Primus Partners, said that working with DPIIT will help startups get good mentoring, share knowledge, and connect with industries. He believes this will make a strong environment for new ideas and businesses in India.
