Sony Interactive Entertainment, or simply Sony, announces its plans to raise the recommended retail price of PS5 in certain regions, namely Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Australia, and New Zealand. It is because of the challenging economic environment, including high inflation and fluctuating exchange rates. Moreover, the Disc Drive for PS5 will be getting an RRP decrease effective starting April 14, 2025.
While for some regions, prices have been altered for the digital edition, those of the standard PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive remain the same. A detailed table has been given below for the enthusiasts to catch up on the prices.
